An Exceptional Land

The Domaine des Conquêtes is a family property run by Emilie & her brother Charles. This family from Champagne, winegrowers for 4 generations, cultivate 13 hectares of vines on an exceptional terroir: Aniane. Located 30 km northwest of Montpellier, at the foot of the foothills of the Cévennes. The vineyard covers terraces overlooking the Hérault Valley in the heart of Languedoc, made up of gravelly soil.

A Family Story

Philippe Ellner, passionate about the land and grandson of a winegrower, immediately saw the potential of this exceptional terroir. Since his childhood, Philippe has worked the vines with love and rigor, for him there is no good wine without a pretty plant and living soils.

This artisan winemaker has succeeded in transposing all his Champagne know-how into his Languedoc vineyard. He was able to pass on his passion and his knowledge to his children who have perpetuated his work since 2008.
